Seabourn's calls run long into the night, with a complimentary evening at Ephesus after the site closes to everyone else.

The short answer

Seabourn's ships, Ovation and Quest, dock at Kusadasi's Ege Port like every other line, with about fifteen hours ashore on every call in our schedule: an early morning arrival and a departure near midnight. Much of that evening is Seabourn's own complimentary concert at Ephesus after the site closes, which leaves the daytime free for a full private tour, such as Marble, Mosaics and Artemis, before you are back on board for dinner.

A fifteen-hour day, every time

Every Seabourn call in our current schedule runs the same way: an early morning arrival and a late evening departure, about fifteen hours ashore. That is one of the longest calls at this port, and it leaves room for more than one stop, plus a return for what Seabourn adds after dark.

The evening Seabourn adds

Seabourn's own signature event here is a complimentary evening at Ephesus: after an early dinner on board, guests take a short coach ride to the closed site for a private classical concert with wine and canapes in the Odeon, then ride back to the ship, in about three hours total. It is why Seabourn's calls at Kusadasi run so late into the night.

The tour that fits a typical Seabourn call

Seabourn ships usually spend about 15 hours in Kuşadası. The highlighted row is where most of their guests land.

How a full daytime plan fits around it

Because the evening event covers Ephesus after hours, the daytime hours are free for everything else. Fifteen hours ashore is enough for Marble, Mosaics and Artemis in the morning and a slower afternoon at the House of the Virgin Mary or the Basilica of St. John, well before your evening dinner on board.

The ships you might be on

Two Seabourn ships have called at Kusadasi in our data: Seabourn Ovation, an Encore-class ship launched in 2018 that carries up to 600 guests, on most of the calls, and Seabourn Quest, an older Odyssey-class ship from 2011 that carries up to 458, on one. Either way, you are well ahead of a larger ship's crowd at the terminal exit, and your evening at the Odeon is shared with a few hundred people rather than a few thousand.

Beyond the complimentary evening

Outside that one complimentary evening, Seabourn's other Kusadasi outings, including trips into Ephesus itself and a visit to Sirince village, are paid Shore Experiences booked through the ship, arranged in named collections for cultural, culinary and active interests. Your Ship, Your Day is a straightforward independent alternative: your own guide, your own vehicle, and a route built around what you want to see.

Questions cruise guests ask us

Does Seabourn include shore excursions?

Mostly no. Seabourn's shore excursions, called Shore Experiences, are paid and booked through the ship, in collections for cultural, culinary and active interests. The one exception at this port is a complimentary evening event at Ephesus after the site closes to the public, which is included for everyone on board.

What is the Seabourn evening at Ephesus?

A complimentary event included on every Seabourn call here: after an early dinner on board, guests take a short coach ride to the closed site for a private classical concert with wine and canapes in the Odeon, then ride back to the ship, in about three hours total. It is why Seabourn's calls at Kusadasi run so late into the night.

Where does Seabourn dock in Kusadasi?

At Kusadasi's Ege Port, the same pier as every other cruise ship here. There is no tender needed for a ship this size. You leave through the regular terminal exit, where our guide is waiting outside with a sign carrying your name; it takes about a minute to meet up once you step out.

How long is a Seabourn call at Kusadasi?

About fifteen hours in every call we have on record, typically an early morning arrival and a departure near midnight. That is enough time for a full day at Ephesus and a second stop, with dinner on board before the evening event at the site.

How often does Seabourn call at Kusadasi?

Three times in our current schedule: once in October 2026, once in May 2027 and once in August 2027, split between Seabourn Ovation and Seabourn Quest. If your sailing date is not yet listed, send it to us directly.
