Emerald's ocean yachts are some of the smallest ships that call at Kusadasi, carrying a hundred or so guests where the ships docked beside them often carry thousands.
The short answer
Emerald's yachts, Emerald Raiya and Emerald Azzurra, dock alongside at Kusadasi's Ege Port with the port's larger ships. Emerald publishes no arrival or departure time for these calls, so hours ashore vary until the daily program comes out. Emerald already includes an excursion in the fare, so a private day is a different way to see Ephesus, and All-Aboard Ephesus is the tour we start with until we have your real times.
A small yacht among the port's giants
Ege Port Kusadasi handles around 600 cruise calls a year across two finger piers with 8 berths in total, 1,297 meters of berth space combined, and most of those calls come from ships several times the size of an Emerald yacht. Emerald Raiya and Emerald Azzurra dock alongside that same pier rather than tendering in, exactly like the mainstream ships that usually share the port with them.
The difference shows up on the gangway, not the map. A ship carrying a hundred guests clears the terminal far faster than one carrying two or three thousand, so an Emerald morning tends to start with less of a wait, even on a day when other ships are also in port. Our port guide covers what the terminal itself looks like.
The yachts you might be on
Emerald Raiya covers 7 of the 10 Emerald calls we track over the next year, with Emerald Azzurra covering the other 3. Both are ocean superyachts of a similar size, built for around 100 to 128 guests apiece, closer in scale to a large private vessel than to a cruise ship in the usual sense.
That scale matters for a private tour too: our guide and driver plan around your own small group either way, so the difference between the two yachts affects your day less than the difference between an Emerald call and a call from one of the larger lines at this port.

Emerald already includes an excursion here
Every Emerald yacht itinerary that calls at Kusadasi includes a shore excursion in the fare, alongside the line's EmeraldPLUS cultural program and EmeraldACTIVE guided activities, all covered before you ever book anything extra. That is a generous standard inclusion, and plenty of guests are glad to have it as their day ashore.
A private tour with us is a different kind of day rather than a fix for a gap: your own guide, your own pace, and a route built around whichever of the Ephesus sites matters most to you, whether that is the Library of Celsus, the Terrace Houses, or the House of the Virgin Mary. If the included program already covers what you came for, that is a perfectly good day too.
Why we can't give exact hours yet
None of the 10 Emerald calls on the schedule we track carry a published arrival or departure time, unlike most of the large ships on the same pages, which do show exact hours. That is normal for a smaller, newer yacht line: the daily schedule tends to finalize closer to the sailing date than it does for the mainstream ships.
Once your ship's daily program is in hand, tell us the real times and we plan the day against them. Until then, our All-Aboard Ephesus tour is the one we start from, since it is built backward from whatever all-aboard time turns out to be rather than a fixed schedule.
Emerald Azzurra can also turn up with no entry in the schedules we compile at all. On September 28, 2026, our live ship-tracking map showed Emerald Azzurra at Kusadasi alongside Variety Cruises' Variety Voyager, though neither call was in our published schedule. Small yachts and expedition ships sometimes call without appearing in any published schedule, so tell us your sailing date even if your ship is not listed here.
What to tell us when you inquire
Send us your yacht's name and sailing date, and your arrival and all-aboard times as soon as your daily program names them. Let us know your party size, whether you plan to use Emerald's included excursion as well, and any sites you most want to see.
We reply through the inquiry form within 24 hours, and nothing is paid in advance.

Questions cruise guests ask us
Where does Emerald Cruises dock in Kusadasi?
Alongside, at Ege Port's cruise pier, the same terminal used by the port's much larger ships. Emerald's small yachts dock at the pier rather than tendering in.
Does Emerald Cruises include a shore excursion at Kusadasi?
Yes. Every Emerald yacht itinerary that calls here includes a shore excursion, plus the EmeraldPLUS and EmeraldACTIVE programs, in the cruise fare, so a private tour with us is an alternative day, not a replacement for something missing.
What time do Emerald ships arrive in Kusadasi?
It isn't published yet. None of the 10 Emerald calls we track over the next year carry a published arrival or departure time; check your ship's own daily program closer to sailing, or send it to us once you have it.
How many guests are aboard an Emerald yacht?
About 100 on Emerald Azzurra and around 128 on Emerald Raiya, the two yachts currently calling here, both far smaller than the mainstream ships that usually share the pier with them.
